Debut Maldjian makes her INTERNATIONAL DEBUT in the European premiere (in Athens, Greece) of
Light from the Cross, a piece for soprano and orchestra, written by Greek composer Christos Hatzis. She will perform with

1) Ani will create the role of young Amelia
in Seattle Opera’s world premiere workshop performance of Amelia. Directed by Stephen Wadsworth. 2) Ani will create the title role of Tchouhadjian’s
Zemire at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Directed by Krikor Satamian and conducted by Vatsche Barsoumian. This production
will be the US Premiere and is a continuation of the AGBA/LARK collaboration of Tchouhadjian’s four operettas. Zvart
was premiered in 2003 and Leblebiji Hor Hor Agha was premiered in 2004, both featuring Ani Maldjian as the lead female roles.
